If anyone is looking for something to do this weekend in the SoCal area, I suggest checking out the drag races at Famoso just outside of Bakersfield. It is the annual California Hot Rod Reunion
It is a great event with open pits where you can get up close to just about every car in the event, a great hot rod show in the grove behind the grandstands, and some awesome racing on one of the most famous quarter miles in the country.
